SEN/Sensory/Other Adaption Requests

Here at My Brave Pearl we try to keep our clothing as inclusive as possible . We’re always happy to make an adaption or try and sort a problem you or your littles have with clothing! Mr Brave is currently undergoing a SEN diagnosis so we already have a few options available.

 

Sensory Processing:

Lots of people have issues with textures, seams and labels. All our items are overlocked to provide a smooth and flat edge. Our underwear has enclosed gussets to reduce the dislike of seams and our labels are Cotton Lycra Jersey to minimise discomfort. 

We can also put our rainbow overlocked seams on the outside of some items if the seam still irritates. 

  

Reversible Clothing

We also have a range of reversible items. Labels are hidden and no seams show so they are very comfortable to wear! Plus 2 outfits in one!

  

Bodysuits

Our bodysuit sizing has now been extended to 12-13Y with adults under investigation. I can also add access points to these where needed. 

 

Bandana Bibs 

Our dribble bibs now come in In B-Tween size suitable for teens and tweens. These have more fabric on the front to create a more bandana like effect than our Baby Dribble bibs. They come with a ruched layer of jersey and a polar fleece backer to keep clothes dry. You can also choose to add a layer of bamboo Terry for extra absorbancy. 

Colostomy Bag Adaptions 

We currently can add a pocket to the inside of our adults curve fit briefs to keep your colostomy bag off the skin which is really good in summer! 

Straight fit boxers are in testing, if you are interested in working with me to test these on your colostomy/urostomy bag please message. 

  

Other Adaptions

We have added a space in the side seams for tubes for tube fed children. 

We have added snaps to the arm of a tee for drainage port access, also makes it easier for broken collarbones/arms. 

We can add snaps to the crotch of some rompers for access.
