Im Lisa, Seamstress, social media manager, post and packer and full time mum!

I fell in love with handmade when I joined another small business as a brand rep following a tester call. I then started making a few items for my own children when I realized the fabrics we liked were not offered elsewhere.

I enjoyed it so much I began doing piecework for other small businesses. After sewing for others for 18 months I felt confident enough to branch out on my own and My Brave Pearl was born!

It is named after my 2 amazing children - Maisie (which means Pearl) and Archie (which means Brave) We also have James/Dad behind the scenes helping with post and support!
